Swine Flu Infection - A Pandemic Flu infection

Swine Flu has been a Pandemic Flu which is a type of the H1 N1 type of influenza virus combination which first outburst in Veracruz in Mexico and it slowly spread through out the world and has taken the mask of an epidemic since it is getting wide spread through out the world.
H1N1 virus was first detected in the year 2009 in the month of April and containing a combination of genes from the swine and Avian ( bird ) and the human influenza viruses and thus Swine Flu cannot spread by eating Pork and its products.
The sufferings symptoms of Swine Flu start with mild presentations like sore throat, headache, cough, pain in muscles and joints and vomiting with nausea. People suffering with Swine Flu can also suffer from Diarrhea (Diarrhoea) and fever. The people who are already suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Obesity, Asthma and with other health conditions in which their immunity is suppressed (Immuno-compromised) and pregnant women are more susceptible to suffer from Swine Flu Disease.
Swine Flu infection spreads from Person to Person and spreads by droplet infection i.e. it spreads through air and via the droplets of the cough or sneeze of an affected patient as a spray.
Various Names of Swine Flu
The term "Swine Flu" was coined by the America Media. Also known as H1N1 Influenza, WHO termed it as "pandemic H1N1/09 virus" while the Centres for Disease Control (CDC) referred to it as novel influenza A (H1N1) or 2009 H1N1 and also as the Pig Flu or Mexican Flu on account of its origin.
Signs and Symptoms of Swine Flu
1. Fever
2. Cough - More of Dry Cough with no expectoration
3. Headache
4. Muscle or joint pain
5. Sore throat
6. Chills
7. Fatigue, Ague, Weakness
8. Sensation of Weakness and discomfort
9. Runny Nose
10. Vomiting
11. Diarrhea (Diarrhoea)
12. Some Neurological problems in Children like Dystrophy of Muscles, Cerebral
Palsy, Developmental Delays or delayed milestones.
When the condition of health of a person becomes severe, then the person's health deteriorates rapidly and patient becomes extremely weak even to do simple movements and and the deterioration progresses to respiratory failure within the first 24 hours and require intensive care with the support of Mechanical Ventilation.

Severe Complications of Swine Flu infection:
Fulminant Myocarditis (Inflammation of the walls of the heart along with gangrene and necrosis death of heart cells and tissue) has been detected in nearly 4 cases in the world as a complication of Swine Flu infection and of which one patient has died.
Another complication of Swine Flu infection is the formation of Pulmonary Embolism (formation of a abnormal bolus in the track of a blood vessel in the Lungs). Till date 5 out of 14 patients have been found to be suffering from Pulmonary embolism as a complication of Swine Flu infection.
