The examinations and lookout of Swine Flu activity in the United States showed up the following details about the Swine Flu activities by the World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) showed that:

1. Specimens collected by the U.S. World Health Organization (WHO) and National Respiratory and Enteric Virus Surveillance System (NREVSS), which were 185 in number in the last week in between February 14-20, 2010; were positively infected for Influenza like infections, as reported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - Influenza Division.

2. The number of deaths due to 2009 Influenza A virus were still less than that of the epidemic threshold level.

3. 3 deaths in the pediatric age group were reported of which one death was due to the H1N1 (2009 Influenza A) virus. The other two deaths were due to the Influenza A virus of whom, subtypes were undetermined.

4. The number of patients visiting clinics for Swine flu virus infection and also for Influenza like illness (ILI) was 1.8% in the United States and below the national baseline of 2.3%.
